SHORT COURSES

Since 2007 two exciting short courses have been offered after hours. Although it was previously only available to consumer science students, anyone who is interested in developing his/her creative skills can participate.

Creative product development comprises the making of creative handmade products for example Mosaic work, paper making, painting and a lot more. This course starts in April. The duration is 12 weeks and holidays are excluded.

Soft furnishing includes the making of curtains and other soft furnishing. This course starts in April and is spread over 15 weeks.

A third short coarse, namely pattern design, started in 2008. Anyone with a matric certificate interested in the design of patterns (flat pattern as well as draping) may enroll for this coarse. This course starts in April and the duration is 12 weeks.
