WELCOME TO THE HOMEPAGE OF HISTORY AND ANCIENT HISTORY

The purpose and value of History History deals with the behaviour, thoughts and emotions of people within a societal context. History can therefore be defined as the study of the identifiable behaviour of people and, in particular, those actions that are meaningful to society. History is studied not only for the sake of the past, but also for a better understanding and judgement of the present in the context of the past. Therefore, History as a social science is concerned with meaningful human behaviour within society. In as much as humankind is fascinating, complex and unpredictable, the study of History as living science is exciting and enjoyable.
