What is Physics?

Physics is the study of natural forces, and as new phenomena are discoverd, these discoveries are applied to new technologies. Well-known samples of such technologies are the transistor, the laser and the modern computer. Physics, along with Chemistry and Mathematics, form the core of the natural sciences, information technology and engineering.
