Centre for Education in Traffic Safety (CENETS)

This Chair in Traffic Safety Education was instituted in 1987 following an agreement between the National Road Safety Council (NRSC) and the former Potchefstroomse Universiteit vir CHO.  Since August 1990, this Chair is known as the Centre for Education in Traffic Safety (CENETS).  CENETS believe Traffic Safety Education should make a very significant contribution to the general traffic safety conditions in South Africa through teaching, research and the rendering of service to the community.
