Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder and Amadeus Mozart will be visiting the Puk Campus of the North-West University next month.
An Industrial theatre performance with Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder and Mozart doubles will be staged on the Puk Campus on 13 and 14 August. The same show will also be taken to the two other campuses to make the NWU community more aware of diversity.
The aim is to address all the challenges concerning diversity experienced across the entire institution in a proactive manner. Some of these issues are highlighted in the ministerial task team’s report that was received in December 2008, as well as in the preliminary feedback of the panel of the HEQC audit in March this year.
An outside institution, CheHan Ideaneers, will be responsible for manufacturing and directing the industrial theatre show.
The rector, Prof. Annette Combrink, encourages all members of staff to support the shows.
