The full time B.Cur.degree entails a complete professional and academic training which leads to registration as a nurse (general, psychiatric and community) and midwife with the South African Nursing Council. As a registered nurse, this qualified learner will be able to deliver extensive professional nursing care in the health delivery system. That involves preventative, promotional, curative and rehabilitative care in the current needs and strengths of the individual, family and community in a culture-sensitive and community-centred context.ed. This course is presented full time at the School for Nursing, Potchefstroom campus.
