Mr. Martin Smit -Curator B. Sc (Botany and Biochemistry, cum laude) (2004); M. Envir. Sci. (Ecological and Sustainable Utilisation, cum laude) (2006). In 2007 Martin was appointed as the curator of the NWU Botanical Garden from where he is still actively involved in research.		Mr. Gilbert Batlhopeng Mr. Batlhopeng was appointed as a worker at the PUK-nursery in 1994 were he worked until 2006. In 2006 he was appointed as a gardener in the Botanical Garden. Since then he has been an enthusiastic and loyal member of the School of Environmental Sciences and Development.


Ms. Leah Mareka Ms. Leah Mareka was appointed as a worker at the PUK-nursery in 1994 were she worked until 2006. In 2006 she was appointed as a nursery worker in the Botanical Garden. Since then she has been an enthusiastic and loyal member of the School of Environmental Sciences and Development.		Mr. Bonakele Mpecheni Mr. Mpecheni was appointed as a gardener in the is Botanical Garden in 2005. Since then he has been an enthusiastic and loyal member of the School of Environmental Sciences and Development.
