Database Download Help

To use the Expert Systems you MUST download the databases onto your desktop folder. It can be done as follow:

Step 1

Click on the "Download Grass Expert Database" or "Download Bush Expert Database" command on the previous page.

Step 2

The following will appear:

Click on "Save this to disk" and click "OK".

Step 3

Click on the "Save in: "-box and select "Desktop". Click "Save". THE DATABASES MUST BE SAVED ON YOUR DESKTOP (DESKTOP FOLDER) FOR THE EXPERT SYSTEMS TO WORK.

Step 4

The following will appear:

Wait until the file is saved. The expert systems can now be used as it appears on the previous page.

Step 5

Click on the "Download Grass Expert Database" or "Download Bush Expert Database" command on the previous page to activate the Expert Systems. The following may appear:

Click "Yes" to activate the Expert Systems. If the Expert Systems don't work make sure that the databases are saved on your desktop.

What to do if the Expert System do not work on your computer

If this image appear on your screen follow the following steps:

Step 1:

Click on "Tools" on the toolbar. Click on "Internet Options...." (as seen below).

Step 2:

Click on "Security" at the top op the box image. Set your security level to low. Your settings should now look like this:

Step 3:

Click on "Apply" and then "Ok". You can now accsess the Expert System. If the problem persists, delete the databases from your desktop and download it again.

Requirements to run the Expert Systems

• Internet Explorer 5 (or better)
• Windows 98 (or better)
• Office 2000 (or better)
• 68 MB RAM
• Pentium I
• 10 MB Hardrive Space
