It is a privilege to welcome you in the Faculty of Education Sciences.  As stated in our vision, the Faculty is committed to providing teaching, research and community interactions that fulfill the intellectual and competence needs of the education and training sector in Southern Africa.   In this way we endeavour to play a pivotal role in promoting a vibrant intellectual culture in the education section.  The promotion of a vibrant intellectual culture is for example characterized by the use of the latest technology and educational principles, the development of lifelong learners and the uncovering and transmission of knowledge in the context of the Southern African educational scene.
