Mission

The mission statement of the Faculty includes the following:

• The Faculty functions in accordance with the agreed and accepted values as defined by the NWU with full acknowledgement accorded to individuality and diversity
• Structures and activities are aimed at the assurance of effective and affordable teaching, establishment of an excellent research culture and community involvement at local and provincial level.
•  Development and presentation of quality pre- and in-service training opportunities for teachers
• Evolvement of a participatory leadership and management style in the Faculty
