STUDENTS
Students from the Faculty of Education Sciences follow a four-year professional qualification which offers both academic and professional education necessary to become a teacher. The PGCE is a one-year programme which follows after an approved degree. The Faculty provides an effective service through the Department of Student development to education students of the University with regard to academic, professional involvement and the creation of opportunities to equip themselves as educators. The sport, culture and leadership activities scheduled for students represent a broad cooperation with a large variety of student subject organisations represented on the University campus. All organised activities carry the hallmark of an enjoyable student life and modelling for the teaching profession.The activities are focused on the recruitment and in-service placement of education students as well as activities in the field of holistic school development, educationally focused community service, and academic, cultural, sport and multi-culturally oriented competencies.The activities continually contribute to the enhancement of organised student life at the University
